Authorities Tuesday released the name of a 47-year-old man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash that sent one car careening into a Long Beach cemetery.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at Orange Avenue and Willow Street, according to Sgt. J. Poor of the Signal Hill Police Department. The city is surrounded by Long Beach.

A black car wound up in the historic Long Beach Municipal Cemetery, established around 1900. A person inside the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office identified him as Agileo Dominges Morales of Long Beach.

  1. Having lived in Long Beach now nearly 7 years, and by a very busy intersection, I can close my eyes and just see someone ran a red light at a pretty good clip. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I see red lights run as though the offense is no more than walking across the path of another pedestrian.
