One person is hospitalized Friday after being shot in West Hollywood and detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department are searching for the shooter.
Deputies responded at approximately 8:45 p.m. Thursday to the 1000 block of North Vista Street, about two blocks south of Melrose Avenue, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived at the scene, the deputies learned the victim had been shot while standing on a balcony, LASD Deputy Daniel Dominguez told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition and the investigation is ongoing.
