A man in his 30s was fatally shot in Koreatown, the Los Angeles Police Department reported Tuesday.
Officers from the LAPD’s Olympic Division responded to Ardmore Avenue and Eighth Street around 8:40 p.m. Monday regarding reports of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office reported he was in his 30s, but withheld his name pending notification of his next of kin.
Two men riding e-scooters were seen leaving the scene of the shooting, according to a broadcast report.
