A speeding motorcyclist who was killed when he crashed his bike into a parked vehicle in Long Beach was identified by county authorities Thursday.
The motorcycle rider, identified as Jamaih Fortin, 23, by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, was riding a 2013 Triumph eastbound on Pacific Coast Highway when he lost control of his bike and struck a parked vehicle on the south curb at about 5 p.m. Saturday, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers dispatched to the location in the 1700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near Seal Beach Boulevard, found Fortin. Paramedics arrived on the scene to rush him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
