An 18-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Friday in South Los Angeles, police said.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 1:19 a.m. Friday to 734 West 111th Street between Vermont Avenue and Hoover Street regarding a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, the officers learned the suspect was shot by an unknown suspect, who ran from the scene, an LAPD officer told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition and was uncooperative with the officers, police said.
