It took firefighters 11 minutes to enter a vacant house in the Florence area Saturday and put out flames in contents of one room.
The fire was reported at 7:13 p.m. Saturday at 340 E. 64th St., between San Pedro Street and Avalon Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
No injuries were reported, Lantz said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
