A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on a freeway transition road in Industry.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 2:23 a.m. Saturday to the transition road from the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway where they found the victim lying on the roadway, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The motorcyclist — whose name, age and gender were not immediately known — was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
A SigAlert closing the transition road at 2:46 a.m. was cancelled at 6:01 a.m., the CHP said.
