A 37-year-old man who was shot in the chest in Tarzana is in critical condition Saturday and the shooter is on the run.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 1:42 a.m. Saturday to 4760 Corbin Avenue, where they were told by witnesses that the victim and the suspect were engaged in an argument, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The suspect drew a gun and shot the victim before running away, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics in critical condition.
Police are searching for the suspect, who remains at large.
