Los Angeles Police Department officers called off a short pursuit of a stolen car Wednesday evening after losing the vehicle near the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.
The pursuit began around 9:14 p.m. Wednesday when Los Angeles Police Department officers received a call regarding a stolen vehicle and began pursuing the suspect on Figueroa Street near the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in South Los Angeles, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The chase ended when the officers lost sight of the vehicle as the driver headed toward an entrance of the northbound Harbor Freeway near downtown Los Angeles, police said.
