A 28-year-old man suspected of false imprisonment, along with two others, was taken into custody, police said.

Officers responded at approximately 8 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2025, to the 9700 block of South Santa Monica Boulevard following reports of an armed robbery, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Police said the responding officers learned that a male suspect had approached a woman from behind and forcibly removed her watch from her wrist as another suspect brandished a firearm. The two suspects fled the scene in a white vehicle that was waiting nearby, prompting police to launch an immediate and intensive investigation.

”Utilizing department resources, investigative technology, and countless hours of follow-up, detectives identified all three suspects,” the police department said in a statement.

Beverly Hills police detectives executed search warrants that helped identify and arrest all three suspects, who are residents of Boston, Massachusetts.

US Marshals and Randolph Police Department personnel assisted in locating the three suspects in their hometown and subsequently took each one into custody without bail, police said.

Bobby Peele, 29, and Austin Glover, 28, were taken into custody by Beverly Hills police detectives on Feb. 25 in Boston.

Alex Brazier was taken into custody in Boston on April 14 by Beverly Hills police detectives.

All three suspects have since been transported to Beverly Hills and are awaiting trial, police said.

Chief Mark G. Stainbrook said that officers are highly trained and, with advanced technology, public safety is an unwavering commitment, noting that offenders who commit a crime will be identified, arrested, and held fully accountable under the law.
