One person was cut from the wreckage of a two-vehicle collision in Boyle Heights Friday but did not survive.

The crash was reported about 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth and Clarence street in Boyle Heights, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The trapped patient was pronounced dead after being removed from the vehicle and a second person was evaluated by paramedics and declined treatment or transport to a hospital.
