Two men and a woman were killed Friday in a shooting in Baldwin Park.
The gunfire was reported about 5 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Millbury Avenue, near Bresse Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
One man and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and the second man, who was critically wounded and taken to a hospital, was later pronounced dead as well, according to a department release. Their ages were not immediately available.
Baldwin Park police made the call to the fire department and were on the scene when crews arrived, but no officers were involved in the shooting.
A witness told reporters at the scene that he heard multiple shots.
The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau was assisting Baldwin Park police in the investigation, with sheriff’s Detective Lt. Steve DeJong in charge.
