An allegedly armed man holed up inside a home in Lancaster Saturday morning and was later taken into custody without incident, authorities said.
The incident at the residence in the 2100 block of Avenida Del Mar, north of East Avenue J, was reported at 3:32 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Personnel from the sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau had assumed tactical command.
The department did not release an approximate time of when the suspect was taken into custody, and no further information was immediately available.
