Police Monday were investigating an armed home invasion robbery in Panorama City by two suspects who remain on the run.
The call came in at 10:50 p.m. at a home in the 9500 block of Cedros Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Two suspects, described only as males wearing black hoodies, threatened the three people inside, without actually making contact with them.
The crime is one of the latest amid a string of burglaries in the San Fernando Valley. Police have responded with extra patrols and various investigative techniques.
Some of the burglaries are alleged to have involved international crime rings. Others have targeted athletes and celebrities.
According to one broadcast report, the victims in this case included two children who were told to stay put and they wouldn’t get hurt.
The property stolen was reportedly jewelry, a cellphone and other items, and then the suspects fled.
No injuries were reported, according to the LAPD.
