Police Monday sought the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who struck and injured a woman in her 50s in the Westlake District just west of downtown Los Angeles.
The crash occurred about 7:50 p.m. March 18 when the woman was crossing Shatto Street in a marked crosswalk and was hit by a vehicle traveling northbound on Witmer Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and treated the woman, but it was unclear whether she was taken to a hospital.
