An 73-year-old man who was last seen in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood was reported missing Sunday, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Kim Collins was last seen about 9:40 p.m. Saturday near Beverly Boulevard and South Western Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Collins is white, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 232 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue sweat shorts.
Anyone who has seen Collins or knows of his whereabouts was asked call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
