A mother and her children were safe Tuesday after a suspect forced entry into a Beverlywood home in an overnight break-in.
The suspect entered a home in the 1500 block of Rexford Drive, south of Pico Boulevard and east of Beverly Drive, around 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The residents hid in a bathroom and called police, but the suspect was gone by the time officers arrived.
A perimeter was established and the suspect was located during a search, the LAPD reported.
The name, age and gender of the arrested individual were not immediately available.
It was unclear if anything was taken from the home.
