A 23-year-old woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles was identified, county authorities announced Thursday.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office determined the victim was Angie Guardado.
The collision occurred at 11:53 p.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway and Exposition Boulevard where California Highway Patrol officers found the victim and the damaged vehicles in the middle lanes of the freeway, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Guardado was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel, where she was pronounced dead.
The collision closed the freeway at Exposition for approximately two hours.
