Firefighters Saturday knocked down a detached garage fire in South Los Angeles, where a 30-year-old woman was being evaluated at the scene for an unknown injury, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 5:32 a.m. to the 2400 block of South 9th Avenue had the fire out at 5:52 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
It was not immediately known whether the woman was transported to a hospital.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
