A 92-year-old man was reported missing Tuesday after being last seen in San Gabriel, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Hoy Be was last seen at about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday near Lafayette Street and Valley Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the San Gabriel Police Department.
Be was described as a 5-foot-tall man weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hat, a beige long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Be’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
