A person was killed Tuesday in a multi-vehicle traffic collision in South Los Angeles.
Firefighters responded at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday to an area near Vermont and Colden avenues, where a person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The name of the deceased victim was not immediately provided, pending notification of relatives.
The cause of the fatal collision was under investigation.
