Los Angeles police sought the public’s help Tuesday to find a motorist who struck and injured a pedestrian near the Westlake area.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a woman in her 60s was crossing Olympic Boulevard in an unmarked crosswalk near Beacon Avenue around 8:50 p.m. April 10 when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle being driven east on Olympic.
The motorist fled the scene without stopping, police said.
The woman was taken to a hospital with injuries described as “severe.”
The city of Los Angeles has a standing reward offer of $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in an injury hit-and-run.
