A man in his mid-30s suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound as the result of a shooting at a motel in Rosemead, authorities said Thursday.
The shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Friendly Inn, at 2146 San Gabriel Blvd., west of the Whittier Narrows Golf Course, according to a watch commander at the sheriff’s Temple station.
The man was shot “on the premises” of the motel, but it was not immediately known if he was shot inside a unit at the motel, he said.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he was said to have stable vital signs.
No suspect or motive information was available.
