Firefighters knocked down a quarter-acre brush fire in Griffith Park Saturday.

Crews dispatched at 10:18 a.m. Saturday to the 2600 block of North Commonwealth Road stopped the progress of the blaze at 10:53 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

“The LAFD has a wet line around the perimeter of the fire and will remain on scene to make sure all hot spots are out,” the LAFD’s Jamie Stewart said. “No injuries reported. No structures or exposures damaged.”
