One person was killed Saturday in a crash on the transition from the northbound Orange (57) Freeway to the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar.
The initial report at 1:48 a.m. Saturday was a collision between a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a black Honda Civic sedan, California Highway Patrol Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The SUV then reportedly hit the center divider and the witness was not sure where the sedan went.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, Garcia said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at about 2:25 a.m. shutting down the transition road for the investigation.
