Firefighters Sunday extinguished a residential fire in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported around 3:45 p.m. Sunday at a single-story home located at 1134 E. 46th St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Responding firefighters found the converted attic of the residence with smoke and fire showing.
The fire was knocked down around 4 p.m. by 35 LAFD personnel.
No injuries were reported, and it was unknown if any residents were displaced.
The Department of Water and Power was requested to assist.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
