A non-injury fire broke out Tuesday in a stable next to an apartment complex in Glendale, sending fearful residents scrambling.

The fire was reported about 5:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Paula Avenue, near the juncture of the Golden State (5) and Ventura (134) freeways, according to the watch sergeant at the Glendale Police Department.

Video recorded at the scene showed residents of the Griffith Park Apartments exiting the complex as the fire burned.

No animals were in the stable and no injuries were reported, according to the watch sergeant.

The scene was cleared by about 6:45 a.m., he said.
