Two firefighters suffered minor injuries Tuesday when their vehicle was involved in a traffic accident while responding to a fire in Sunland, authorities said.
The accident was reported at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at 10500 N. Mcvine Ave., just south of Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Both firefighters were taken to a hospital and were being evaluated by medical personnel.
No members of the public were injured in the accident, the department said.
The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the accident.
