Police sought the public’s assistance Thursday in locating an at-risk 83-year-old man, who may be confused or disoriented, and was last seen in Arleta.

Alfredo Luna was last seen at about 5:50 a.m. in the 13600 block of Gager Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Luna was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall Hispanic man weighing 200 pounds with balding hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, and a brown baseball cap with the lettering “Mexico” across the front.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Luna was urged to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800 or 911. Calls during non-business hours should be directed to 877-527-3247. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
