Firefighters put out an attic fire Saturday in Arlington Heights.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported at 4:38 p.m Saturday at a one-story, single-family house at 1926 S. 10th St., north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Arlington Heights area, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Light smoke was visible when the first of 36 firefighters arrived to attack the blaze, which was extinguished in just over 20 minutes, said LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.

The cause of the fire was not immediately apparent, Middleton said.
