One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore, authorities announced Saturday.
The crash was reported around 9:30 p.m. Friday near the area of Spring and Library Streets, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Responding deputies found the driver of the involved vehicle suffering from significant injuries and attempted life-saving measures, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation by the sheriff’s Lake Elsinore station traffic team.
The identity of the driver was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
