A 41-year-old man whose death in Llano prompted a homicide investigation was identified Sunday by county authorities.
Elias Tapia was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office as the victim. His city of residence was not provided.
Homicide detectives responded at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday near 173rd Street and East Avenue T regarding a death investigation, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s officials said Tapia was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Details about Tapia’s death remain limited, with no description of a motive or possible suspect.
