One person was arrested when a vehicle slammed into a building in Marina del Rey Thursday and took down a power pole.
The crash was reported about 3:25 a.m. at 4100 Admiralty Way, according to the California Highway Patrol, which reported that one person was taken into custody at the scene.
The address is the location of the Marina del Rey Marriott.
Details about the suspect were not immediately available.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene. There was no immediate word available on possible injuries.
According to a CHP log, a tow crew was awaiting utility workers to remove the pole from atop the car so the vehicle could be removed.
Officers remained at the scene investigating the crash three hours after the wreck was first reported.
