Firefighters Saturday knocked down a small contents fire inside a two-story boarded-up church in the Echo Park community of Los Angeles.
Firefighters dispatched at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday to 1226 N. Alvarado St. had the fire out within 12 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
