A suspect possibly suffering from a mental illness was detained Tuesday in the Hollywood Hills following a shooting investigation.
Officers responded at about 5 p.m. Tuesday to the 8300 block of Grand View Drive to reports of a possible shooting of a vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said nobody was inside or around the vehicle during the shooting, but a tire may have been shot.
No further details were immediately provided.
