One man was stabbed and another was taken into custody Wednesday in a residential area in Tarzana.
Officers responded about 9:30 a.m. to a call of trouble at a home in the 19200 block of Erwin Street, east of Tampa Avenue and south of Victory Boulevard, where they found the victim suffering from a stab wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect, described as a man in his early 40s, was located nearby and taken into custody, an officer said.
It was unclear how or if the suspect and victim knew one another.
The victim was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available and his age was not disclosed.
