The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Wednesday it is investigating new sexual assault allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is serving a 50-month prison sentence in a New York case.
“This development represents a substantial advancement in my pursuit of complete accountability. Justice is prevailing,” the alleged victim, publicist/record producer Jonathan Hay, told NBC News.
Combs was convicted last summer in New York of federal charges of transportation of two women for prostitution, but acquitted of more serious charges.
He is behind bars at the low-security Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, NBC News reported.
