A 45-year-old man who was found dead in the Sun Village neighborhood of Littlerock was identified Friday by county authorities.
Alex Valenzuela-Acosta was identified as the victim by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
Homicide detectives responded at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday to the 10000 block of East Avenue S-10 to assist deputies with a death investigation, where Valenzuela-Acosta was pronounced dead at that scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s official said the victim and suspect knew each other and that the fatal attack stemmed from a tenant-landlord dispute.
There was no description of the suspect, who fled the scene upon the arrival of law enforcement.
