A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in La Puente, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday.
CHP officers were called at 11:34 p.m. Friday to 15832 Maplegrove St., near Alieron Avenue, regarding a crash involving a black Jeep and a gray sedan, the CHP said.
They found the victim unconscious in one of the vehicles, a CHP officer told City News Service.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 49-year-old Reginald Crim, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
The crash temporarily blocked the east and westbound lanes of Maplegrove.
