One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in La Puente, the California Highway Patrol said Saturday.
CHP officers were called at 11:34 p.m. Friday to 15832 Maplegrove St. and Alieron Avenue regarding a crash between a black Jeep and a gray sedan.
At the scene, they found the victim unconscious in one of the vehicles, a CHP officer told City News Service.
The victim, whose name, age and gender were not known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash temporarily blocked the east and westbound lanes of Maplegrove.
