Authorities said Anthony Wishon is suspected of the disappearance of Emmett, and they are believed to be traveling in a black 2022 Ford Explorer with California license plate 9DAL909.

Emmett was described as a 4-foot-tall boy weighing 35 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and green pants.

Wishon was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall man weighing 350 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The relationship between Emmett Wishon and Anthony Wishon remains unknown.

Anyone with information regarding Emmett’s or Wishon’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The CHP issues an Endangered Missing Advisory to help locate a child or other endangered person who has been abducted or is unable to care for themselves and whose safety is believed to be in danger.
