Firefighters Monday extinguished a fire inside a single-story home in Echo Park.
Crews were dispatched at 10:49 a.m. to the 300 block of North Patton Street, where 42 firefighters brought the blaze under control in about 20 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
