A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 60-year-old man last seen early Monday in Hemet.
Andre Franklin was last seen at approximately 12:40 a.m. Monday near Laursen Street and East Devonshire Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Franklin was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall man weighing 170 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, red sweatpants, and black-and-gray shoes.
Anyone with information about Franklin’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
