A perimeter has been established Tuesday morning at a self-storage facility in the Westlake area, where Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a burglary took place, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to Los Angeles Self Storage at 1:37 a.m. in the 1000 block of Sixth Street, near South Beaudry Avenue, in response to a report of a burglary, according to the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
The burglary was confirmed and four suspects were at the scene, a spokesperson said, adding that it was unclear if the suspects were in custody or if they were somehow holed up inside the storage facility.
A perimeter had been established, at some point, he said, and there was no other immediate information.
Previously, however, police said two suspects had been arrested.
K-9 units were on the scene.
