An at-risk 81-year-old man who had been the subject of a Silver Alert was located Friday evening, prompting its cancellation.
Ghulam Sheren had last seen at approximately 8 p.m. Thursday near Calle Cannon Road and Camino Terraza Road in Corona, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Details about when or where Sheren was found were not provided.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
