Two suspects, one armed with a gun, were on the loose Friday after a foot pursuit with Los Angeles Police Department officers in the Sun Valley area, the LAPD reported Friday.
LAPD officers with the department’s Foothill Division began chasing the suspects around 10 p.m. Thursday near the 11000 block of Arminta Street between Strahern and Stagg streets, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service. It was not immediately known why the chase began.
The chase drew a large police response as officers called for three K-9 units and a perimeter was established as several teams spread out to look for the suspects.
Video from the scene showed police taking at least two people into custody, but City News Service was unable to confirm they were the suspects that officers were originally pursing.
