A Silver Alert was activated Friday for an at-risk 81-year-old man last seen in Corona.
Ghulam Sheren was last seen at approximately 8 p.m. Thursday near Calle Cannon Road and Camino Terraza Road, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheren was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall man weighing 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and gray pants.
Authorities believe Sheren is possibly traveling in a white 2012 Honda Civic with California license plate 6UAA158.
Anyone with information regarding Sheren’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
