County authorities Thursday identified a 35-year-old man who was fatally shot in Rosemead.
Homicide detectives responded at approximately 3:50 p.m. Wednesday to the 8400 block of Fern Avenue, near the Alhambra Wash, to assist deputies assigned to the Temple Sheriff’s Station with a shooting death investigation, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, identified by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as J Jesus Orozco Jr. of Rosemead, was located in the area, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details about the shooting and what motivated it remain limited. There was no description of a suspect as detectives continued their investigation.
