Fire Saturday damaged a double-wide mobile home in Nuevo, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:19 a.m. Saturday to the 29000 block of Merrell Avenue had the blaze contained at 8:10 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two people were displaced as a result of the fire, and animal control was requested to assist with several displaced cats, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
