Firefighters Sunday knocked down an outside fire that extended into a railcar in the Boyle Heights community of Los Angeles.

Firefighters dispatched at 11:08 a.m. Sunday to 1438 S. Grande Vista Ave. had the fire out at 11:29 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Amtrak and Union Pacific representatives were on the scene with the fire department.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
